About
I am currently full and unable to accept new clients at this time. My apologies. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and many more DSM V diagnoses. I am a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mental health therapist. I completed my Bachelor's in Psychology from Rowan University in 2002. I entered my graduate studies at Rutgers University where I obtained a Master's degree in Social Work and Counseling in 2006, after which time I completed all NJ state requirements as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in order to practice Psychotherapy.
I received my EMDR II Cert from the EMDRIA institue in 2014. I am an interactive, person centered therapist. I create a treatment plan for each client to pertain to his or her individual needs. Some of the things I implement are DBT, CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, relaxation techniques, and breathing exercises along with many other techniques.
With empathy and discernment I help individuals to build on their strengths in order to live more peaceful lives and to make positive changes. My focuses include trauma resolution, childhood neglect/abuse, building self-confidence, relationship issues, life transitions, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, dramatic powerless life changes, and anger management.
