Hello there! My name is Melvin, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. Are you overwhelmed or struggling with life, work, or health issues? I understand that we all have times when we could benefit from counseling. The hardest part is asking for help with everything in your life. I have a decade of experience treating clients of different cultural diversities and concerns. I use an eclectic stance in therapy as he feels that one counseling modality does not treat every client. I utilize various therapeutic modalities to meet clients' unique and specific needs.
I have over ten years of experience working with clients with different cultural diversities and concerns. I have experience with the following clients: HIV-positive, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, substance use disorders, addiction issues, recently incarcerated, first responders, veterans, and military spouses.
As a counselor, I will meet you where you are and walk you through your issues, concerns, and struggles. Therapy allows you to work through your problems with someone who is not biased or judgmental. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change.
