I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and self-esteem, among other issues. I believe that providing effective therapy requires genuine connection between the therapist and clients. It is of utmost importance to recognize the diverse qualities and experiences that constitute a human being. Bringing these aspects together through a humanistic lens will allow for a therapeutic approach that can reach clients of all backgrounds.
In the therapeutic setting, I work to help clients manage depression, anxiety, and substance use concerns. My therapeutic style employs DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and harm reduction approaches to strengthen clients’ emotional regulation, boost mindfulness, and empower self-led change.
In addition to my training in clinical social work, I am also a board certified Music Therapist. My background in the creative arts gives me the tools to help clients process deep experiences that can be difficult to articulate verbally. My clients can expect a creative and collaborative approach to reaching their goals.
