Hello! I’m Melody Blighton. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am happy to provide Assessment, Individual therapy, Family therapy and life coaching for children, adolescents and adults. Clinical social work is my passion! I graduated from East Carolina University(2011) w/ my BSW and University of New England (2014) with my MSW. My clinical experience includes providing services via Telehealth, in the schools and community mental health to children and adults. My core belief as a provider is therapy should be a safe space to express feelings, identify goals, learn coping skills, and mindfully look within in order to promote
wellness of the mind and body. In order to create a safe and effective space I utilize evidence-based strategies and frameworks. These frameworks include but are not limited to; Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy(CBT), Mindfulness and Solution-Focused Brief therapy and Motivational interviewing.
