I have experience working with a variety of clients from age three through adulthood. I have a strong background in working with children, families, and individuals with developmental delays. I primarily work with kids ages three to twelve.
I primarily use a client-centered and attachment based approach while incorporating other methodologies including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. I am also trained in utilizing adlerian play therapy and client-centered play therapy strategies.
I believe that sense of safety created within the therapeutic relationship allows for vulnerability. This in turn helps individuals to gain insight, build self-esteem, and overcome challenges.
