I help kids and teens experience confidence, resilience and hope. When your child struggles with fear or difficult behaviors, it impacts their confidence, success at school and family relationships. Our goal for therapy is to increase self-awareness and coping skills, improve communication, and help your child reach their goals. I include parents in treatment in order to provide the best support for your child. And if faith is important to you, I am committed to providing care that honors your values and worldview.
I provide evidence-based mental health treatment to increase awareness of what is causing anxiety, depression or problem behaviors. This includes understanding thoughts, beliefs, past experiences and current skills. With increased awareness, we can then utilize various strategies to improve coping, emotional regulation, communication, and problem solving.
I am so honored to support children, teenagers and their parents in this work towards resilience and healthy relationships. Let’s figure out the next steps for your child to thrive together. You can reach me by calling Mid Valley Counseling Center and our wonderful front office staff will help us connect.
