I base my approach to therapy on exploring your unique life story and how it is impacting your current thoughts, feelings and behavior. My goal as a therapist is to walk beside you on the path to recovery from both the large and small traumas inherent in the human experience. I have found that the greatest success in therapy comes as clients build healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships by identifying and reframing the unhealthy and inaccurate beliefs that lead to behavior.
I have experience working with clients that are coping with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I am trained in EMDR, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and individuals, using a strengths-based approach tailored to the unique needs of each client.
I believe that change is a collaborative endeavor that requires support and caring without judgment. I look forward to assisting you in recognizing your ability to overcome obstacles and live a fulfilling life!
