Welcome! I'm glad you've made your way here. I work with adolescents and adults who are struggling to manage overwhelming emotions related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (and related disorders like body-focused repetitive behaviors). Fear, whether from anxiety, intrusive thoughts or trauma can take over and cause people to avoid situations that provoke anxiety. This avoidance cycle leads to a deep sense of shame and people can feel like there is no end to their struggles. I can help you change these patterns by changing the way you relate to and experience your emotions.
I am trained in a variety of approaches including Exposure Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I combine those skills with years of experience to customize treatment to help each client get back to living their best lives.
