About
If you are an early adult or someone who must function at a high level under pressure, I would like to work with you. Athletes, college or graduate students, and performance intensive professionals - you expect a lot out of yourself and you are your own worst critic. While your strengths have brought you far, you may be experiencing some of the problems that often arise when high expectations meet high pressure; anxiety, perfectionism, loss of motivation, fear of failure, and depression. It is difficult to ask for help, especially when you are used to solving problems on your own.
Early adulthood is a time of multiple transitions. You are trying to figure out who you are and what you want while balancing relationships, making important decisions, and managing the stress of increasing responsibilities in life. Change is exciting, but the uncertainty and pressure to make the right choices can sometimes be overwhelming.
I have doctorate degree with a specialty in sport psychology, university counseling center experience, and I am a former professional athlete. I understand the unique needs of my clients from multiple perspectives. I am often full, but will always consider inquiries from prospective clients who are a good fit. ***Email is my preferred way to communicate.***
