As a Counselor and Coach in long term recovery from both substance and process addictions, I've received support from some very special humans who've lit the way for me to peer into the areas of my path that I was either denying or just couldn't see from an objective perspective (yet). After a career as a marketing professional, I'm grateful to have transitioned into providing the work that's helped me come to terms with life and my place in it; work that feeds my soul and shines the light on those dark places so many of us are afraid to venture into alone. Together, we can explore and make meaning of what's happened for you.
I've trained with the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals, the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists and am EFT, EMDR and Somatically trained. Although I can help with many issues, my specialty is compulsive sexual behaviors and the betrayal trauma that can accompany these confusing and disconnecting behaviors.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Coach providing therapy and coaching services to clients, either in-person or via Zoom. Trauma & Tension Release Exercise (TRE) Group
We meet every other Saturday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. The TRE process offers an affordable supportive space to attend to and release stuck energy in the body while improving self-regulation. Although this is a non-verbal practice, there's opportunity to share your experiences afterward in a supportive and connective environment. The suggested donation for group is $25/pp. Give what you can; what's important is that participants have a place to let go what needs releasing. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow or blanket (or both) and water.
