Change is not always easy and it often requires effort. However, change does not have to be made alone. It's important that you have someone to listen, validate, support, and, at times, challenge you. My therapy style is primarily Internal Family Systems (IFS), but I also utilize a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Of course, humor and compassion are also large parts of my practice to support creating a safe, welcoming and judgement free zone.
I have specialized experience working with members of the LGBTQIA population, teenagers, young adults, couples, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My clinical interests include; developing/improving coping skills, reducing depression and anxiety, and processing trauma/attachment wounds.
