With over 20 years of experience, I’ve served as a clinical director, college counselor, private practitioner, and supervisor of counseling interns. I hold a Master’s in Education with a focus in Guidance and Counseling and a Ph.D. in Psychology. I work with teens and adults on challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, women’s issues, aging, and domestic violence. I believe every person has unique strengths, and I focus on helping clients build on those strengths to reach their individualized goals and achieve meaningful growth.
I approach counseling with a Cognitive Based Therapy lens. How people think/view events and relationships impacts how they feel and navigate their world. I believe all people have the capacity to make changes to live the life they desire to live. I strive to provide support through the process to help one achieve their individualized goals.
