I am passionate about helping women find relief from overwhelming feelings. Women decide to meet with me when they are feeling anxious or sad, lacking energy, feeling ‘stuck’, or wanting positive self-esteem. Also, I meet with women experiencing perinatal health concerns including difficulty with being or becoming a mom, miscarriage support, and fertility treatment support. I am available for one time fertility evaluations for individuals or couples using donor gametes for assisted reproduction as referred by a doctor.
My goal is for women to feel like themselves again. I strive to build a safe place to allow for honest conversation when life can be very hard. Being open and having support can help us gain confidence that we are not alone and can get through this time. Together we can make a plan about what tools and skills will be necessary to find relief again.
I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and I have a certificate of completion in perinatal mental health counseling. Through my work I find great value in helping women become empowered to be emotionally healthy. My treatment approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and I am EMDR trained.
