I recognize the significant impact of trauma on adults, children, and families. My passion is supporting parents, children, and families not only in their present healing. I aim to give insight into their own struggles to heal the inter-generational trauma and heal future generations. It stops with you. Systemic therapy looks at not just about the individual, but their family, community, the larger societal values and how that power, privilege, and inequity impacts the person in the therapy room with me.
Humans are relational beings and our conceptions of ourselves are formed through relationships with other people in our lives and society at large. When I was growing up, I didn’t have anybody safe to talk to, and that drove me to want to be that person for other people. I don’t want people to feel isolated, alone, and misunderstood.
As a therapist, I want to serve the whole person; to me that means being a strong advocate in their lives. Whether that is finding them gender affirming care, financial aid, school supports, or getting other basic needs met. It can be challenging to get connected to resources and to know what resources are out there.

Groups
DnD Therapy Group
In this group, we use the role-playing game of Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) to facilitate therapeutic interventions. People who are struggling with the isolation, depression, social anxiety, ADHD, and more have this space to join with others in an engaging and fun activity. The group is a space to explore ways to be in the world without risk of judgement; whether that is identity, communication skills, or emotional awareness.
