Welcome. You've taken the first step by seeking therapy for your child, and this is often the most difficult. I am a Licensed Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and specialize in working with young children through adolescents. I work with children struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. In addition to working directly with your child, I find that treatment is most effective when the parent(s) are involved and we work collaboratively. I also work with families on parenting and developing plans to support concerns at home.
I have a strong background in working with children with behavioral and emotional challenges, Autism, ADHD, social skills challenges, and developmental disabilities. I also specialize in conducting evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorders (including the ADOS-2), ADHD. and learning and/or emotional difficulties.
I place a strong value on family involvement throughout treatment, and enjoy working very closely with family through parent/family sessions to ensure that you feel supported. I also provide support and consultation to families regarding special education, 504 plans, and additional educational supports. When appropriate, I collaborate with school staff.
