I believe that healing and emotional growth are ongoing processes, and that they truly continue throughout our lives. We are constantly breaking, repairing, learning. We are evolving in every moment. At times, however, we find ourselves stuck in the breakage. Unable to find the bend. Paused in the darkness and depth. Whether it is early childhood trauma or a current life situation; an unhealthy attachment or a tragic loss; low self-worth or misguided aggression...with mindfulness, awareness and a deep and connected relationship with a counselor, we can learn to find our way again.
With ten years of experience in the therapeutic realm, I feel that I have developed a multi-faceted counseling style. I tend to utilize Cognitive/Behavioral concepts at the core, but feel that Contemplative Psychotherapy practices are important in the healing process. I pride myself on meeting my clients “where they are”.
