Experiences of loss, abandonment and loneliness are often motivators to begin therapy and can leave people feeling depressed, anxious, angry, and sometimes confused. Rather than focusing on symptoms, I work with people to identify and treat underlying issues, often rooted in early trauma. Trauma often alienates people from their authentic self and claiming our authentic self can help alleviate distressing symptoms.
Neurodiversity can leave people feeling isolated and as if they don't belong; it is often complicated by trauma. It can help to understand our neurodiversity and develop self-compassion and self-care.
