Hey there, I'm Melissa (she/they). I help clients navigate uncertainty, depression, and anxiety caused by identity loss, life transitions, grief, relationship struggles, and career stress. This is a space for your whole self: colorful, adaptable, messy, complex, and ever-evolving. We explore at your pace, making room for humor, curiosity, and uncovering your resilience. Together, we will explore what needs attention, nurturing, or change. Whatever you are going through, you don't have to go through it alone. You were never meant to.
I believe my role is to be an honest and compassionate witness. I utilize a Person Centered, relational approach. I tie in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and art therapy techniques. My philosophy is always "challenge by choice"; you determine what is worked through in therapy and at what pace.
If what I have written on this profile speaks to you, I would love to connect. Reach out to me via email and we can find a time to chat. Accepting motivated clients including adults of any age, teens age 15+, and couples on a case by case basis.
