I am a warm and attentive therapist who understands that coming to therapy is a commitment of time, finances and energy. I believe the main goals of therapy are for a client to enhance self-awareness, and to develop skills that guide life-long, healthy decision-making. I will ask questions that will help you think about yourself and challenge you to think in new ways and try new approaches. I enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves and want to achieve their potential in relationships, career and creative endeavors, or contemplating a life change, such as embarking on a new career or ending a relationship.
Clients are welcome to discuss their faith and spirituality in session if they wish. One's faith and beliefs can be a tremendous source of guidance, support and encouragement.
I understand it can be intimidating or even anxiety-provoking to reach out to a therapist for the first time. Many clients tell me they are relieved to have started therapy and feel comfortable speaking with me. I hope you call/email. I will do my best to help you feel comfortable.
