As a body image therapist, my mission is to empower individuals to develop a healthy, compassionate relationship with their bodies in Carroll County, Maryland. I am deeply committed to helping clients break free from the societal pressures and unrealistic beauty standards that often lead to negative body image, disordered eating, and self-doubt. I am passionate about guiding individuals on their journey toward self-love, where they can embrace their bodies as they are, and live in alignment with their authentic selves. This work is deeply personal to me, and I am honored to witness the growth and transformation of my clients.
Clients come to me looking for a therapist who "gets” what happened to them on a deeper level in a place where you feel safe & validated. Therapy sessions are a combination of talking and exercises—whatever makes sense for you. We will always go at your pace, never pushing to places you’re not ready to be.
As an experienced eating disorder/body image therapist located in Sykesville, Maryland, I have seen firsthand how deeply body image issues can affect all aspects of a person’s life; emotionally, socially, and physically. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood and supported as they navigate these complex feelings.
