I practice through the lenses of DBT, CBT, and existential therapy. I believe clients have the capacity to develop their own solutions and that, through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, meaningful movement toward a desired quality of life is possible. My therapeutic style is straightforward and direct, and I invite open communication about clients’ experiences in therapy throughout the process. I most often work with individuals who have experienced trauma, and through partnership, my goal is to help clients move from surviving to thriving.
I am a prior service turned mental health professional. I served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic from 2009 to 2012, with one deployment to Iraq. I hold two master’s degrees, in addition to a bachelor’s and an associate degree. I bring specialized knowledge and clinical focus in trauma, sexual concerns, and disordered eating.
I hope that, together, we can identify and move beyond the patterns or experiences that may keep you feeling stuck, and work intentionally toward the goals and life changes that matter most to you.
