She enjoys identifying the unique strengths in each client, building on them to challenge the negative patterns that contribute to how we see ourselves, the world, and how we believe others see us. She was inspired to work in the field because she believes in a person’s ability to be better and to heal. Melissa currently serves on the board of the Minnesota Association of MFT.
Starting therapy can be an intimidating process which requires taking a brave first step. I enjoy the ability to walk with my clients in their journey to achieving their version of healthy and better. My passion is empowering clients to establish their own goals and providing the support to achieve them.
Melissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has spent her career working with individuals, families and couples. She attended Argosy University where she obtained her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and completed Alcohol & Drug Counseling courses for licensure. Melissa has spent much of her career working in community mental health.
