In our work together, I will aim to help you feel understood as we explore the life difficulties you have faced, and currently face. I emphasize empathy in my work, and provide a safe environment in which to help you process your painful experiences and understand how they may be influencing your current struggles. Unprocessed emotional pain is commonly at the core of the symptoms we experience; yet it is often dismissed or suppressed. We will process your feelings and experiences to help make sense out of them and reduce your symptoms.
Our work together will help you cope and find lasting relief. Often, individuals experience an emotional liberation from this work, with increased self-worth, empowerment, awareness of their needs and understanding of their feelings. As a result, painful cycles and patterns are broken and life changing healing is found.
Emotional pain needs a relational home in which it can be held and tolerated. Often, we have no where to go to get this kind of support. I will meet you in this space, and you will no longer have to go through it alone.

Media Of The Mind: How Art Shows Us Who We Are

An ongoing therapeutic process group for those who seek to heal creatively. Using various forms or art (i.e. paintings, poems, writings, films, music, etc) we will evoke personal experiences to be reprocessed and thought of with new narratives to enrich our lives and find meaning through our challenges. Please contact me for more details.
