I provide comprehensive psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults in a private and comfortable setting. Studies have shown that the single most important factor in predicting successful treatment outcomes is the relationship between therapist and client. My warm and supportive style will help you feel comfortable and understood. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach but incorporate strategies from a variety of evidence-based treatments. Together we will work to strengthen coping skills, resilience, and give you helpful “tools” that can be used in everyday life.
I am also trained in a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) was developed at the Yale Child Study Center. It is a supportive approach that focuses on changing the way parents’ respond to their child’s anxiety.
As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist I do psychoeducational assessments for learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e. ADHD, autism spectrum), high-stake test accommodations, and gifted program eligibility.
