Counseling is an excellent method of learning new skills and developing insight for a more fulfilling life experience. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to assist clients with understanding how their thoughts and behaviors impact their emotional experience. I also utilize techniques from other evidence-based therapies that can provide clients with helpful skills for coping with painful emotions and communicating more effectively.
