About
I have been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist since 2002. Much of my career has been working with children & teens in conjunction with their families as well as individual adult clients & couples, providing clinical treatment, support & psyho-education. As a graduate of University St Joseph, West Hartford, CT in Marriage & Family Therapy, I gained a greater understanding of the effects symptoms have on & are effected by family members. I utilize a Solution Focused therapy approach providing short term goal oriented sessions. In addition, I seek to establish boundaries & open communication in families increasing functionlevel
My personal and laid back style have been successful working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, Bi-polar, suicidal ideation, self harm, as well as couples issues including sexual dysfunction, affairs, mistrust, parenting and co-parenting. I offer support through developmental stages of childhood, dissolution of marriage and family care giving.
As a single mom of two, I am familiar with the struggles of parenthood, co-parenting, marriage & unfortunately divorce. I offer a supportive ear with clinical techniques to get you through your difficulties. I offer flexible hours hoping to decrease the need for you to take excessive time off from school or work. I am available evenings & Saturdays.
