About
Melissa Landrigan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania who obtained her Masters in Social Work at West Chester University following an undergraduate degree in Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. Melissa is passionate about working alongside individuals to empower them to achieve their goals in a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental environment. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with diverse clinical issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, trauma symptoms, relationship issues, and many others.
She believes that it is important to help others explore how various aspects of their lives (e.g. family upbringing, social influences, personal experiences) impact the way they view themselves, others, and the world around them. Melissa’s goal is to ensure that every individual becomes the expert in their treatment, and ultimately their life.
Melissa seeks to build trust and rapport by providing a warm, nonjudgmental space for you to be heard, set goals, deepen insight, improve your self-image and relationships, and identify strengths while gaining adaptive coping skills to ensure you can live an authentic and meaningful life.
