Therapy is an incredible tool for anyone searching to foster insight, growth, overall well-being, or change. It can seem like an intimidating journey, so our initial goal is to create a comfortable, trusting, and collaborative relationship with you. We provide psychotherapy for adults and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, sexual health concerns and adjustment challenges. We are LGBTQ+ allied. We believe that incorporating qualities like honesty, humor, and candidness, can be beneficial in developing the therapeutic connection and reaching goals.
We know that therapy is not one size fits all. Our clinicians are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including EMDR, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Sex Therapy, and i-Rest. We also offer EMDR Intensives.
The therapeutic style is led by your needs. Some people enjoy more directed therapy and others prefer it be less interactive. You and your clinician work together to find the style that will be most advantageous in reaching your goals. We see clients in-person in DC and offer telehealth in DC, VA, MD, NY and FL. Some of our clinicians accept Kaiser & Aetna.
