I am a clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience working with children, adults and families. I see patients in person in my midtown and Westchester offices and see patients for telehealth in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. I completed my clinical training at NYU, with training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. After completing my training, I spent seven years on the full-time faculty at the Weill Cornell Medical College, where I treated children and adults and supervised psychology and psychiatry trainees.

I was trained in traditional psychodynamic psychotherapy, but have advanced training in other modalities that I incorporate as needed depending on the individual treatment goals. I received advanced training from the Beck Institute in CBT. I also have specialized training in Collaborative Problem Solving for challenging behaviors in children.

I believe that a warm, supportive and non-judgmental stance is the key to any successful treatment. I emphasize alleviating short-term distress, and improving long-term quality of life.
