As a developmental psychologist, my goal is not to "cure" any specific disorder, but rather to promote awareness, understanding, and wellness in my clients as they grow and change. I provide individual psychotherapy for adult clients and specialize in a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem, problems in communication, and interpersonal or family conflict. My primary role is supporting my clients to better understand the variables contributing to negative emotions or behaviors in order to make and maintain meaningful change in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), functional family therapy (FFT), and existential psychology though I also pull from several other types of therapy which are listed below in the Treatment Approach section of this page. I don't offer psychological testing or medication management services.
