About
I work with individuals in a supportive and creative environment to open dialogue and explore life's challenges. The opportunity to engage in verbal or non-verbal expression can support to reframe the past, their thoughts, emotions, life patterns, and to discover a deeper awareness of themselves.
I am licensed as a creative art therapist with a Ph. D. in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Some clients choose to engage in the art process while others do not. I believe the most important component to therapy is developing a trusting relationship so there can be honesty and deeper confidence in saying whatever needs to be stated.
As a creative arts therapist, I work with art, dreams, child and adult "play" through imagery and story-making. I encourage free association to open up blocked areas of your life. I emphasize an approach of curiosity instead of criticism to more deeply explore one's self.
