I am a BCBA specializing in pediatric behavior therapy services. I have a BA in Linguistics with a focus on atypical language development and a M Ed. in Educational Psychology for Multiple Severe Disabilities with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I started my practice in 2015 in Atlanta, GA. I work with children and adolescents who have Autism and other developmental difference. My passion is helping children develop communication and language skills, functional/adaptive daily living skills and social skills and supporting parents and families of children with developmental disorders.
I work with families on reducing maladaptive behaviors and creating positive behavior supports in the home. I advocate for our clients rights and provide support during IEP meetings as well as provide supplemental parent, caregiver, and teacher training to help promote consistency with methods of instruction and behavior management.
Early intervention is key when it comes to future outcomes for children with autism and other developmental disorders. ABA is the most evidence based treatment for autism but it is effective for many other behavioral and developmental disorders as well as general behavior management strategies for parents.
