My approach is to meet each client or couple where they’re at and help them get to where they want to go, whether that’s easing symptoms of anxiety, improving their relationship, or exploring some of the many aspects of their identity (sexuality, gender, partnerships, academics, career, etc) and what’s next for them. I am a generalist, and I also have expertise working with relationships and the alt-sex community. If you are feeling stuck or confused in your life, counseling can help you define past influences that got you here and where you want to go, and provide you with skills and guidance to get there.
I move clients toward insight with a client-centered intentionality. My methods include EMDR for trauma, IFS therapy, geek therapy, mindfulness, developmental models, and experiential therapies. I am a kink- and poly-identifying counselor with a strong commitment to confidentiality and open acceptance. I am also a certified ADHD therapist, and identify as ND
