Whether you are seeking help for yourself, your teen, or your family, you've come to the right place. If you are ready to make some changes and figure out the core of what is causing the distress, disruption, or unease, we can work together to figure out the best ways to help you (or your teen) move forward in a healthy way. So many times, we spin in circles trying to figure out which direction to go. People get caught in their own heads, so it's hard to make sense of all of the thoughts/feelings. You no longer need to be trapped in that cycle alone. We can work together to pick out the pieces that will help you create balance.
As a psychologist, I have worked with people of all ages, with a multitude of concerns they are hoping to resolve. As a person, I understand how complicated life can be. I am a wife, a mother, and a stepmother. I have been a single mom. My blended family is a multiracial family, and I have LGBTQ+ friends/family. I strive to be an ally to all people.
Therapists are not "one size fits all." In order to get the most out of your sessions, it is essential that you find someone you feel comfortable talking to about anything/everything. I hope that person is me. If it is not, it's ok. It's not about me. It's about you and what you need in order to reach your goals, one step at a time. I hope I can help!
