Life is very full. In the mad dash to keep up, we can lose connection with ourselves and our people. This disconnection tends to leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or even checked-out. Therapy provides an empathic space to feel seen, which helps open doors to a deeper understanding of ourselves, our emotions, and our relationships. It is an opportunity to understand ways our past may be affecting our present experiences—and see the patterns therein. When we understand and empathize with these patterns, we can move toward growth to navigate life feeling more confident and capable.
I provide individual therapy that deep-dives into the emotional experience of the self. We will explore your current concerns in the context of past experiences to more deeply understand the bigger picture of what you’re facing. We will also explore ways culture shapes our experiences and the meaning we create.
My work is a balance between support and challenge. I hold empathy for where you’re at and how you got there, and challenge you passed the old patterns that may no longer serve you. I help folks dealing with anxiety, depression, relational concerns, trauma, social-identity concerns, and major life transitions.
