Thank you for visiting my practice! I have been offering counseling and psychotherapy to clients since 2008, with the addition of teletherapy in 2017. During my career, I have worked with individuals and families in clinical outpatient settings, schools and private practice. I have specific training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, with additional certifications related to Anxiety and Teletherapy.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different in your life. I’ll also ask some questions about your background so I can better understand the context of what you’re going through.
I work best with clients who are seeking thoughtful, insight-oriented talk therapy and who are open to exploring patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They are willing to develop greater flexibility in their thinking and experiment with new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
