At this time, my practice is dedicated exclusively to working with adult women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse—or who have questions or uncertainty about possible childhood sexual trauma—and want help healing its impact on their adult sexuality. This work goes beyond processing what happened in the past. Together, we can address difficulties with desire, arousal, intimacy, touch, sexual avoidance, shame, triggers, confusing sexual responses or fantasies, and feeling disconnected from your body.
We seek to understand if and how you would like your sexuality to be part of your life, not simply to make sex less frightening or difficult—and to help you reclaim your self and your sexuality in a safe and chosen way. This work is often done in the context of couples therapy and when indicated, in individual work as well.
