I work with people of all ages (children, teens and adults) and within many different relational dynamics. I support individuals, couples, and families of ALL diversities. The Lanterns’ Way was created to encompass the felt sense of the voyage we all take in finding our own unique light and Lanterns’ Way, inside the hardships of life; which can sometimes feel dark, lonely, and hopeless. I am passionate about working with those who are desiring to look at what has been hidden within themselves. I have been described as a therapist who “deep dives” and supports those in getting to the “root”.
I am a trauma therapist who integrates holistic and somatic-based practices (EMDR, yoga, breathwork, Somatic Experiencing, circus arts). Areas of expertise include: trauma, anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, attachment wounding, dysregulation in the body, low self-esteem and Queer challenges. Additionally, I offer therapist consultation.
Research has demonstrated that we as humans can rewire our brains (neuroplasticity). This means we have the innate power to heal ourselves and to relearn more adaptive ways of living; especially with the understanding of our nervous system. We are Queer and We are Here: Breathwork Group
Join us for evenings of deep diving, releasing, and empowerment using the mighty benefit of the circular breath, to encourage an altered state of consciousness, to explore and bring curiosity to your inner knowing. This is a space reserved for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. This sacred container is designed just for you, as you are, in an inclusive and supportive setting. This three-hour journey will consist of an opening circle, an hour breathwork session with primal chakra-attuned music, and ending with an hour art/journal processing about breathing experience, followed by closing circle. It is optional to share.
