I am a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families as they navigate through and process life’s most difficult passages, including medical illness, loss, and grief. I have extensive experience guiding my clients through the spectrum of life-threatening illness including; diagnosis, treatment, symptom recurrence, pain management, end-of-life processing, and grief.
As a Certified Child Life Specialist I have experience in supporting children through significant medical illness and hospitalization, as well as helping caregivers cultivate a space for honest communication that honors where both the child and parent are in their understanding of the diagnosis and illness trajectory.
Additionally, my background in treating loss and grief has provided me with the skills to support individuals who are grieving a variety of losses including; losing a friend or family to death, chronic illness, infertility, pregnancy loss.
