Dr. Melissa Gold Wiedmann is a California licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the psychodynamic and relational-interpersonal treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. She completed her B.A. at Georgetown University, and her Ph.D. at California School Of Professional Psychology. Dr. Wiedmann received her predoctoral training at the Los Angeles Police Department; Behavioral Science Services and her postdoctoral training was at UCLA's Rape Treatment Center.
She has spent the last ten years in private practice in New England performing individual therapy, consulting on the local and international level as well as furthering her psychoanalytic training. Her special areas of interest and expertise include, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and issues related to pregnancy and postpartum.
