About
I work with pre-teens, adolescents and adults who are ready to work towards growth and trauma resolution. I specialize in working with individuals and families affected by trauma and abuse. I am interested in helping survivors find their inner strength to overcome their past and heal. I believe in the dignity and worth of each individual person. I continue to be amazed at the strength displayed by individuals and consider it a privilege to be involved in guiding the process. I enjoy using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other interventions that are evidence based.
I specialize in resolution of trauma and abuse. I have over 23 years experience with 12 years in the field of forensic interviewing. I am trained to conduct the SAFE method of EMDR, which I am passionate about. I have worked in various settings with clients including inpatient acute, residential, foster care, and other community based settings.
If you are someone who is ready to explore possibilities for a brighter future we have a lot to discuss. Your trauma is not your fault and I possess the tools to assist you in moving past the trauma and becoming the best you possible. I encourage clients to interview therapists and find the best fit for them. Contact me with any and all questions.
