It has been a privilege to assist children, adults, couples, & families in times of changes, uncertainty, adjustments, & struggles. Life throws us curves sometimes & we may feel stuck due to behaviors, influences, & circumstances. I would like to help assist you in a safe & therapeutic environment to provide some tools, support, coping & problem-solving skills in a nonjudgmental & caring atmosphere. In a counseling session, we will explore emotional & cognitive barriers, past & present relationships, & collaboratively devise therapy goals. There are many different reasons to seek counseling in all stages of your life.
I use an eclectic approach to counseling. This means I am trained in numerous therapeutic approaches. I am a certified EMDR therapist, IFS-EMDR therapist, CBT therapist, Prepared & Enrich counselor for couples, completed Level 1 & 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy & Emotionally Focus Therapy (EFT) & Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) for couples.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology. I love working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, & families. With over 8 years of experience working in an educational setting as a certified school counselor and teacher. I bring warmth & structure in a collaborative space where clients can begin healing to create meaningful lasting change.
