About
If you are suffering from anxiety or depression, I can help you become a participant in your own change. If you've experienced grief or trauma, I offer a safe space in which to unpack it. I believe in letting you know exactly what is going on through the entire therapeutic process, so you will never be in the dark about my intentions or the direction you are going. I am especially effective at helping you deconstruct and examine your role in existing issues. We will develop practical, everyday skills to help make you a more mindful, self-aware person.
I'm also a Registered Art Therapist. Art therapy has been around since the 1940's and can play a unique role in therapy, encouraging change and offering new insights. EMDR is another specialty I offer that you may want to explore. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have regarding these options.
The relationship you create with your counselor is among the most vital aspects of healing. Find the person who is right for you. Give me a call to get an idea of what this is all about; I'm happy to answer your questions.
