About
Life is a journey and sometimes we may need a little help along the way. On life's journey we may experience anxiety, depression, grief or trauma which me may lead us feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, fearful or angry. Sometime we may need someone to walk beside us on the journey to assist in overcoming and healing from life's ups and downs.
I completed my internship with the U.S. Army Chaplain’s Corp providing counseling for the Army community. I have extensive experience working with and treating individuals and families that have experienced trauma, adjustment issues and other unexpected events that life has placed in their path. I have had the opportunity to be trained as an EMDR provider.
I believe that every client is on a unique journey and would benefit from a treatment plan tailored for their specific needs. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the main catalyst for change, therefore, I view this relationship with the utmost importance. I will approach every client from a place of compassion, authenticity and respect.
