The teenage years are filled with anxieties of self discovery and identity. As a young adult you may have parts of yourself you feel like you must hide. You may feel like there are conflicts with who you are, and how you currently present in the world. You may be coming to a deeper understanding of your gender or sexual identity. It can be hard to know how to talk to your parents. This can be a scary time filled with a lot of fear, curiosity, uncertainty, and grief; all of which can complicate your relationship with your family and friends. Together we can explore ways to find a little more ease in the journey.
I have an active imagination and a visual mind that can help you make more sense of yours. Together we can start mapping out your inner world, listen carefully to what lights you up, and begin caring for stress and exhaustion. I can help you explore internal and external stressors, resolve conflicts, and feel more connected to the here and now.
I offer a collaborative space for teens and adults seeking individual or couples therapy. I have experience working with people impacted by trauma, autistic and LGBTQIA+ people experiencing minority stress, and advocates engaged in long term anti-racism & systemic change efforts.
