Starting therapy takes courage and finding a therapist you connect with is essential. With 13 years of experience in the mental health field, I provide a space that is nonjudgemental, direct, compassionate, and safe for you to process your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. I specialize in treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. I strive to show up as a person first by bringing humor, transparency, and empathy to our sessions. I will actively listen and challenge you throughout the process. Together, we will work on and identify goals you'd like to achieve in therapy.
My approach is strengths based and is rooted in Emotion Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory. Additionally, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. In my work, I believe in building emotional resilience, challenging shame, and in healing the relationship you have with yourself and with those around you.
Taking the first step in this process is extremely brave and I would be honored to get to know you and be part of your process. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and offer virtual sessions in Oregon, California, and Washington. I offer a free introductory call - feel free to check out my website or email me to set something up!
