I am passionate about helping adolescents, individuals, families, and couples navigate challenges related to identity, relationships, and emotional regulation. I specialize in family dynamics, couples issues, and supporting survivors of narcissistic abuse. Having grown up with a narcissistic figure, I understand how these relationships can leave you questioning your reality and self-worth. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy at some point in their lives. In our work, we will rebuild your confidence, help you trust yourself again, and make sense of your experiences, including learning to “grey rock” to protect your peace.
My professional experience has been mostly with families and youth, as I have worked in school settings and children’s outpatient clinics. Aside from that, I have also worked with adults in outpatient mental health settings dealing with various mental health disorders and substance abuse challenges.
My counseling approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, warm, educational, supportive, calming, with occasional use of humor. I am trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), which are evidence based interventions I use often. Please reach out, if you think we could be a good fit!
