Ideally, I try to create a comfortable environment so that the client can feel a connection. I realize that one of the hardest things to do as a person, is to admit that you need to talk a problem through with someone outside of your circle of family and friends. When meeting with the client, I try to distinguish where they are and go above and beyond to make the therapeutic process a success.
It is common for people to see me for their own personal development. Often old patterns interfere with people being able to achieve their full potential. Therapy can identify these patterns. Working through the thoughts and emotions related to these patterns will allow one to be transformed and decrease their influence on the client.
I am now doing tele-therapy. There are times in this generation that a heavy work load, childcare responsibilities, travel, and life make it extremely difficult to come in for face to face therapy in the office. Tele-therapy allows the person to put themselves first in their schedule from the comfort of their home.
