About
Melissa works with her patients, going at their pace as she guides them through therapy as they regain their sense of safety, healing, and peace. She takes the time to learn about her patients, why they’re seeking therapy, and how she can help guide them toward effective treatment. Her goal is to help her patients cultivate resilience so they can see their inner strengths and find hope in all areas of their lives. Melissa has been providing therapy since 2012 and works with patients ages 11-65.
Melissa uses the following evidence-based practices: trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and play and art therapy. She is a level-2 certified clinical trauma professional. Melissa’s patients can expect dedication, guidance, compassion, and careful listening during sessions.
Melissa treats a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, stress, trauma, PTSD, gender issues, mood disorders, and more.
