I believe helping people address the symptoms (anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, psychosocial stressors) in a person-centered approach can help to develop the tools and coping skills needed to live a better life.
I start with building rapport to get to know you to figure out what is best and most meaningful for you in addressing inter/intrapersonal conflicts. I help you by identifying what is important and how we can get there together. I offer a safe, inclusive, and evidence-based (motivation interviewing, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic) style; so you can move forward.
I have a wide range of experiences with clinic and community-based work and being aware of the varying situations that people may be trying to cope with while also working on themselves. My practice comes with the safety of a judgement free mindset and working with each person's circumstances
